Town and Richard Wright have begun discussing a new deal which will keep the England keeper at Town for years to come. Wright's current deal is up at the end of next season and Town are anxious to tie him down long-term. |

Richard Naylor's newborn daughter Jessica has been allowed to leave hospital after having a number of heart tests. The baby was born with heart problems when last week and was taken to Guy's in London for treatment. |

Sky viewers were treated to a thoroughly entertaining game at Portman Road this afternoon. Two stunning Martijn Reuser strikes put Town ahead after Benito Carbone had put Bradford in the lead with an equally superb strike in the first half. Marcus Stewart may find out whether his red card against Leeds has been rescinded today. The Town striker appealed against the red card which he felt was unjustified. Town manager George Burley went to see referee Peter Jones after the game and he said he would change his decision if he felt he had been harsh. |

Sven-Goran Eriksson got to see two English goalscorers this afternoon as Town comprehensively beat Leicester 2-0. Had it not been for some inspired keeping from former Southend player Simon Royce and one or two bad misses from Town players it could have been even more. Town went back to fourth in the table as Marcus Stewart became the first Town player to top the Premiership goalscoring charts. He now has fourteen League goals and one in each of the cups, his goal today was also his sixth goal in consecutive games. |
